Frequently asked questions

How do I know if this membership is right for me?

This membership is for you if:

  • You understand basic English (as explanations for beginners and intermediate students are given in English).

  • You want to speak real, natural Spanish (from Spain) and not just memorise grammar rules.

  • You want to learn with a native teacher as part of a supportive community.

Do I need to be living in the UK?

Not at all. Students join the online classes from all over the world. As long as the class times work for you and you can understand English, you’re very welcome.

What is the difference between the weekly live classes and the monthly workshops?

The weekly live classes:

  • Take place every week at the same time.

  • Follow a structured programme to ensure consistent progress.

  • Include speaking, listening, reading and writing practice.

  • Are designed to build your confidence step by step.

The monthly workshops:

  • Take place once a month (usually on a Saturday or Sunday).

  • Last approximately two hours.

  • Focus deeply on one specific topic (for example: past tenses, ser vs estar, pronunciation, conversation skills, etc.)

  • Allow you to clarify doubts and gain deeper understanding.

Think of weekly classes as your consistent training and workshops as your intensive boost.

Can I cancel my membership at any time?

Yes, you can cancel at any time.

  • If you are on a monthly plan, your cancellation will apply to the next billing cycle. You will continue to have access until the end of the month you have already paid for.

  • If you are on an annual plan, cancellation will apply to the next renewal date (the following year). Your access will remain active until the end of your paid annual period.

There are no long-term obligations beyond your current billing cycle.

Can I get a refund?

Due to the digital nature of the membership and immediate access to materials, all payments are non-refundable.

However, if a member has actively participated for at least two consecutive months (including attending classes) and can demonstrate no measurable progress, they may contact us to discuss their situation. Each case will be reviewed individually.

What makes this different from apps like Duolingo?

Apps help you recognise words.

Here, you learn to use them confidently in real conversations.

Will the live classes be recorded?

No. The live group classes are not recorded.

Creating a safe, supportive environment is extremely important to me. I want you to feel comfortable and speak freely without worrying about being recorded.
